Hello, my name is Paulius. My research is driven by the goal of making AI and technology in general more trustworthy and aligned with human intent. To that end, I'm exploring how formal frameworks like logic can be combined with machine learning to build more reliable systems.

I will be starting a PhD in Neurosymbolic AI at TU Wien from September, 2025 under the supervision of Mantas Šimkus. I have graduated with a MSc in Logic from the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation in University of Amsterdam. Previously, I have worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at IconPro. Before that, I studied at DKE in Maastricht University and obtained a BSc with Honours in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. At DKE I was also the President of Study Association MSV Incognito.

I created this little site in an effort to concretize my thoughts about some topics and store previews of projects I have worked on.
